Musicvideo for `Morning Glory`

Ahead of its release in June, we are premiering the self-directed music video ‘Morning Glory‘ shot and direct by Lea Meier for her upcoming single as Shayu on Rotterdam-based collective and record label Bound Centre.

Shot in London, this tenderly crafted music video portrays a lone dancer busting bold moves on the streets of Dalston. Despite the expressive dance, pedestrians go about their business in typical dissociative fashion, offering a quick almost-fearful glance. The baroque soundscape helps meld this into a too true social commentary of London – people would rather ignore you, than look you in the eye.
