‘A Still Present’ marks the first release on ‘simulate’ - a sub-label from the Barcelona based imprint angoisse that aims to release digital single works by a series of selected artists to showcase their utopic idea of the ‘club’. Grimey and futuristic at it’s core, ‘A Still Present’ presents the producer’s trademark vocal samples floating over an ice cold instrumental sustained on expansive low end and heavenly weightless pads.

Shayu immerses the listener in a hi-def landscape of icy synths and deep, multiform percussion. Processed vocal samples cut through the layers of rhythm, transporting the listener into a hypnotic, club reverie.
